SkyQuestCom's Success Blog: China Now the World's Largest Internet Market

It’s official. China has overtaken the U.S as the worlds’ largest Internet market in terms of its users. This is according to an official report by Beijing-based research firm BDA.

Based on data from China’s Internet Network Information Center, Internet users have reached 210 million at year-end 2007 while Nielsen/NetRatings estimates the U.S figures at 216 million.

BDA also mentioned that the U.S still far outstrips China in the value of internet content, advertising and e-commerce, but expects e-commerce to become the next boom sector in China as businesses and retailers take advantage of the mass market of consumers who are already online.

With over 200,000 subscribers around the world, SkyQuestCom is Asia's largest multimedia e-learning company.
