SkyQuestCom's Success Blog: Mastering the Game of Wealth

Learning to be cash savvy is crucial, as SkyQuestCom Family Members discovered in Robert Kiyosaki’s “Cash Flow Game”

Many of us have been brought up to believe our lives are all set if we studied hard, excelled in school and landed a good job. But the truth is, there are many people, including highly educated ones, who later find themselves struggling financially and unable to get ahead, despite working hard.

The problem, says Rich Dad Poor Dad author Robert Kiyosaki, is that many individuals do not know how to make their money work for them. As a result, most of them end up not being able to tell why they struggle financially because they do not understand the seemingly concept of “cash flow”.

Recognising that lack of financial aptitude among people, Robert went on to create the “Cash Flow Game”, an educational board game that teaches players how to hone their financial skills in the areas of accounting and investing.

SkyQuestCom's Singapore IDs gathered recently to play the game at the Achievers’ Club, a regular event organised by their top leader Mr. Aaron Loh. According to Aaron, the goal of the Achievers’ Club is to help SkyQuestCom’s members to embrace the spirit of learning in a fun and interactive way.

Inspired by Robert Kiyosaki’s concepts on the importance of financial literacy, Aaron chose the “Cash Flow Game” to be the focus of his event. By playing the game, members will be able to learn how to weather today’s economy by instilling good money management skills into their lives. On top of that, they can pass on those skills by teaching others to be more financially savvy.

“By playing the Cash Flow Game, players will be more aware of their money habits and learn not to repeat old mistakes. During the game, we try not to spoon-feed the players so as to help them achieve maximum learning results,” explained Aaron.

However, there was more to the game than simply learning how to be cash savvy. Aaron said, “It’s a good bonding opportunity for members. More importantly, it builds trust into them that SkyQuestCom is serious about cultivating a positive learning environment for every member!”

And the response?

“Very positive,” quipped Aaron, “Besides identifying some of their poor financial habits, the players have discovered where the right tools to build wealth are. They are looking forward to the next game which will be held in January.”

SkyQuestCom's Success Blog: We are #1 - SkyQuestCom is now Singapore's Fastest Growing Technology Company!

Singapore, 12 December 2008 – We are proud to announce that we are now THE #1 fastest growing technology company in Singapore!

SkyQuestCom was the only Singapore-based company to have emerged among the Top 20 in the 2008 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific programme.

(Pictured below: SkyQuestCom’s CEO, Mr. Richard Tan (right) receiving the Deloitte award)

To determine the fastest growing companies, Deloitte calculated the revenue growth percentage over 3 years. Judging from the stringent requirements, making this list is quite an accomplishment for SkyQuestCom, whose leadership has shown the vision and determination to grow and flourish even in today’s difficult conditions.

SkyQuestCom’s CEO, Mr. Richard Tan insists there is no secret to the company’s success. He puts it simply, "We work harder than others."

Richard’s entrepreneurial spirit and vision have greatly inspired his staff and distributors to achieve incredible results. Overall, companies that ranked on the Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2008 programme had an average growth rate of 707%. SkyQuestCom, on the other hand, achieved a sustained revenue growth of an amazing 2,724.33% during this period! This is nearly 8 times the average of the other fastest growing technology companies. This makes us the #1 fastest growing technology company in Singapore and the 11th fastest in the Asia Pacific region. Given today’s up and down economy, it’s no surprise that 2,700+% is a dream that many companies, including MNCs, have found challenging to attain.

“Attracting enough customers to attain such fast growth over three years makes a strong statement about the quality of a company’s product and its leadership,” said Mr. Ian Thatcher, partner-in-charge of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific programme. He added, “SkyQuestCom has shown the right stuff for growth.”

In his usual humble self, Richard dedicated the win to his staff and distributors. He also revealed that it would highlight the creditability of the company and allow us to penetrate new markets more easily.

Not resting on his laurels, Richard shared this important advice, “We have to be careful not to be complacent. We must continue to work hard and prepare for the challenging times ahead. Let’s make a positive difference in the lives of others and make our world a better place.”

SkyQuestCom's Success Blog: Read the Latest Scoop from Asia Internet Congress 2008

Despite the current financial storm sweeping the world, the Internet still remains a haven of vast new opportunities as discovered by the guests at Asia Internet Congress 2008

It’s not very often that large-scale Internet Marketing seminars are organised from within Singapore, by Asian speakers, for a regional audience.

The 3-day Asia Internet Congress (AIC) was one such event which took place on December 7 at the Singapore Management University. It was packed to capacity with close to 300 guests, who were mostly from Singapore. From marketers to entrepreneurs, the guests, coming from different backgrounds, had gathered to learn how to start online businesses.

But you may be wondering...in these troubled times, should we even be thinking of doing a business?

The statistics tell it all.

Asia has topped the world in terms of Internet usage and cheaper broadband rates means it’s now available everywhere. And industry experts say that the key to doing a successful business online will be from the growing percentage of Internet users who conduct online transactions. Surveys have also proven that the longer someone has been online, the more likely they are to buy more products online.

In times of recession, more people have turned to shopping on the Internet for cheaper deals to reduce daily expenses. Let’s not forget the fact that we are now living in a time where job security is fast becoming a myth and bonuses are being cut. There has never been a better time than now to start an online business, which is low-cost and low-risk.

The guests discovered how to do just that from some of Asia’s leading Internet Marketing experts who gave away their money-making secrets in a truly open way. They even went the extra mile by interacting with the guests during rest breaks and shared their knowledge with those who were eager to learn.

SkyQuestCom's Success Blog: While the rest of the world panics, you should celebrate!

The economic downturn has created unlimited opportunities for Network Marketing. Question is, what are you going to do about it?

It's scary each time we watch the news.

The economy is a mess and the financial turmoil has taken a tremendous toll on every sector in the world. People are losing their jobs.

Finance and Banking giant Citigroup has set the world record of making "the second largest job cut in the world" - by firing more than 52,000 employees worldwide. The previous record was of IBM, who axed a shocking 60,000 employees during the global recession in 1993.

South-east Asia's largest bank, DBS said it plans to cut "900 jobs and more than half the cuts would come in Singapore and the rest in Hong Kong. A Singapore minister commented that he "expected about 10,000 job cuts this year in Singapore with an unemployment rate of below 3 per cent". And local analysts said job cuts next year could be "higher than the 30,000 seen in 1998 during the Asian financial crisis".

And, financial firms aren't the only ones laying off staff.

IT giant, IBM, is set to lose over 2,500 workers across the Asia-Pacific as the economy continues on a downward spiral. It said that its software division will be the hardest hit and the largest casualty list will come from Japan. IBM told employees that 1,000 workers in Japan and 1,600 elsewhere across the region would be axed.

In India, an industry association has estimated that more than 700,000 casual and contract labourers will be losing jobs in sectors that include export-oriented garment and auto-parts manufacturing, banking and real estate.

In Ghana, exports are expected to fall in 2009. The currency is depreciating and financial investments will be dramatically reduced in the coming year.

As massive lay-offs and financial trouble continue, food prices, energy costs and interests rates worldwide have also soared in recent months, adding more fuel to the explosion of problems.
World leading Business and Finance authority Forbes sums up it as "the start of a scary trend." While there is no denying that we live in some of the most challenging times since the Asian Financial Crisis of '98, there is one business that prospers even in hard times.

What is it?

Traditionally, Network Marketing has created wealth when people are on the alert for new opportunities during a bad economy. As more people become worried about losing their jobs or getting lower pay, you can be sure that those who are hungry enough for success will open their minds to gaining alternative sources of income - income that will be consistent whether they are working or not, or if the economy is good or bad.

With recession looming, people are looking for ways to start homed-based businesses as a way to generate income during tough times.

And SkyQuestCom is a perfect example of a Network Marketing business that thrives even in the most challenging of times. Anyone can start the business part-time from home whether you have a full time job or not. There is no need to give up your career.

Unlike traditional businesses that require you to invest thousands of dollars in loans, SkyQuestCom is low-risk and low-cost. With an incredibly low start-up investment, you can start the business immediately and enjoy the ultimate freedom of earning income anywhere, anytime. You can complete the sale in a matter of minutes - there is no delivery, no storage and no hassle. On top of that you can sell to the USA and anywhere else with an Internet connection. With cheap Internet access, it is available almost everywhere.

The best thing is there is no limit on the income you can earn. Success depends not only on your desire to succeed but on helping others to succeed as well.

SkyQuestCom exemplifies this value by giving you the chance to learn the skills you need to become more marketable and attractive to employers. And you can share SkyQuestCom with people whom you care about and help them to achieve success too.

Don't let the doom and gloom get to you. You now have the solution to all of your financial worries.

Our advice: Take action now before someone else does!

SkyQuestCom's Success Blog: T. Harv Eker's Making the Stage Featuring Blair Singer and Larry Gilman

Making The Stage™ - a 5-day training programme that was held at
the Le Méridien Hotel in Phuket, Thailand
T. Harv Eker and Success Resources team up to deliver a special 5-day training programme that empowers participants with winning strategies to captivate audiences onstage.

“We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.”

Although spoken over half a century ago, these famous words by former British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill resonate even today. Like Churchill and many of the world’s greatest orators after him, they had one thing in common. Their ability to influence and hold their audiences spellbound each time they spoke was more than amazing. Today, the success of how we deal with people in
business and personal relationships depends heavily on how well we speak and sell ourselves.

On 25th November, 46 participants from different countries in Asia and Europe came together at the
Le MéridienHotel in Phuket to learn how to develop those abilities which will help them to shine on the speaking platform.

Participants giving their full attention to lessons that were taught by
a team of world-class experts
As you might have guessed from the words “speaking platform”, the participants were not your common lot. They were personally trained by world-renowned Wealth Coach T. Harv Eker and are graduates of the Quantum Leap programme - a series of practical courses, camps and workshops designed to help individuals achieve their dreams of becoming successful trainers, speakers and coaches. Through 5 days of experiential learning, participants including business consultants, corporate executives, leaders and trainers discovered powerful strategies from a team of world-class experts on communications, finance and business.

Among the experts was “Rich Dad Advisor” and Sales Dogs best-selling author Blair Singer, who gave participants a glimpse of the lessons they would be able to learn.

Following that, Eker revealed the winning strategies he applies as a professional speaker that has helped him to sell more powerfully and earn his millions onstage.

Millionaire Mind, T. Harv Eker

Participants also discovered how to create a quick, powerful and emotional connection with their audiences from Larry Gilman. Gilman is one of USA’s leading acting coaches who has worked with celebrities including Academy Award-nominated actor Woody Harrelson. They learnt how being authentic and honest are the keys to making the difference between a good and great speaker.

rapport with an audience

All in all, the training programme was a huge success thanks to the world-class experts who have shared their time and knowledge with a talented group of people who were extremely eager to learn. And even if there would be some who would not take to the stage until they are ready in the future, we can be sure that these individuals, with the skills they had learnt, would definitely achieve greater success in their careers and get more from out of their personal relationships.

As a testimonial to this, one of the participants had this to say, “I am now able to stand in front of a room and be able to move my audience more powerfully and authentically.” Now doesn’t that call for a round of applause?
