Singapore Trusted for E-commerce, Broadband Users Hits All-Time High
9 out of 10 enterprises say Singapore is a trusted environment to conduct e-commerce, according to the latest survey by the Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) - the Chief Information Officer for the Singapore Government.
This was revealed at Information Security Seminar 2009, organised by IDA and the Association of Information Security Professionals (AISP).
Statistics also show Singapore's household broadband penetration rate as having crossed the 100% mark for the first time in January this year. The broadband penetration rate calculates the national total of broadband subscribers.
The figure also includes both residential fixed line connections and wireless internet access subscriptions.
